Phoebe Lenderyou narrowly missed earning her second bronze medal of the meet, placing fourth in the 200m backstroke event by .04 seconds.

Phoebe Lenderyou was the top finisher for the Tigers on day one of the U SPORTS championships hosted by the Universite de Sherbrooke. She placed fourth in the 50m backstroke.

Phoebe Lenderyou captured a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke Saturday night at the U SPORTS swimming championship in Sherbrooke.

After the third and final day of competition, the Dalhousie Tigers captured both 2016-17 Subway AUS swimming titles – the 19th consecutive win for the men and the 16th for the women.

The Dalhousie Tigers claimed nine event wins to take Day 2 of the 2017 Subway AUS Swimming Championships. But Acadia’s swim team also turned heads with three victories Saturday night.

Led by Gavin Dyke and Lise Cinq-Mars, the Tigers won 10 of 12 events while capturing 18 medals along the way.

(Halifax, N.S.) – On the third and final day of the Kemp-Fry Invitational Swim Meet, the Dalhousie women and the McGill men were atop the team standings.

First-year Tigers swimmer Alec Karlsen set a new AUS record in the men’s 400m IM event in a time of 4:21.52 on the second night of the Kemp-Fry Invitational swim meet. He broke fellow Tiger Bryan Fummerton’s time of 4:21.62, set November 25, 2011.

The Tigers men’s 800m freestyle relay team of Gavin Dyke, Peter Inches, Keenan Teghtsoonian and Tyler Immel-Herron set a new AUS record. Dyke also set the 200m freestyle record during the opening leg of the relay.

The Tigers grabbed first place finishes in all 11 events during the final session of the Amby Legere meet in Fredericton, NB on Sunday.

The Dalhousie Tigers won 10 of 14 events in the first session and 7 of 12 in the second session, dominating day one of Amby Legere Invitational swim meet, at the University of New Brunswick.

Both the women's and men's swim teams got their first team wins of the season at the Jack Scholz Invitational at Acadia over the weekend.
