To promote our varsity athletics, healthy living, and social engagement throughout the Dalhousie campus and HRM community.
Vision:
We strive to enhance the experience for everyone who visits Dalhousie University by developing a culture of community and pride surrounding varsity athletics. Dalhousie Varsity Council is committed to promoting our varsity programs as well as the outstanding achievements of varsity athletes as they contribute to school, sport and society.

The Special Tigers Sports Program
The Special Tigers Sports program runs fun events where youth with intellectual disabilities partner with varsity athletes from Dalhousie University to share their love for sport. Created in 2012 by psychology student Rebecca Haworth, the program is run by the Dalhousie Varsity Council with support from the Dalhousie athletic department and Special Olympics Nova Scotia.
