Sven Stammberger earned Subway Player of the Game honours scoring 16 points in the Tigers 85-70 win over the UPEI Panthers Saturday night.

(Halifax, NS) – In their final home game of the season, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Acadia Axemen in a battle for AUS standings. The Axemen combined lights-out shooting with tough defence in the first quarter and were able to hold a lead throughout to take the 75-63 win.

Sven Stammberger scored 23 points and had nine rebounds in the Tigers 85-65 win over the Acadia Axemen Thursday night in Wolfville.

In AUS men’s basketball action at the Dalplex, the Dalhousie Tigers defeated the Cape Breton Capers 83-58 in a game which was an emotional rollercoaster for the most part.

In a high-scoring game that couldn’t be solved through regulation, the Tigers came out on top, doubling up Memorial in the overtime frame and taking the 102-94 win.

(Halifax, NS) – in the first day of a back to back matchup, the Dalhousie Tigers hosted the Memorial Sea-Hawks at the Dalplex. After a tightly contested first half, the Tigers were able to gain an edge in the third quarter an hang on to earn the 88-82 win.

Sven Stammberger had a double double with 21 points in 12 rebounds in the Tigers 87-71 win over the Saint Mary's Huskies Saturday night.

(Halifax, NS) – Getting day three of the Shoveller Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament underway in the game for 7th place were the MSVU Mystics and Acadia Axemen. A big run made by the Axemen in the second quarter pushed them into a commanding lead, and they never looked back, taking this one 90-65.

(Halifax, NS) – In the consolation final of the Shoveller Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament, the UPEI Panthers were taking on the Concordia Stingers. After a slow start from both sides, rebounding on the offensive end proved to be the difference maker for the Stingers as they earned the 56-53 victory.

(Halifax, NS) – In the game for third place at the Shoveller Memorial Invitational Basketball Tournament, the Saint Mary’s Huskies squared off against the UNBC Timberwolves. After the game being tied up at half, a big third quarter run pushed the Huskies ahead, and they held on to take the 76-64 victory.
