Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues battled hard for a second straight game, but Dalhousie University Tigers bounced back winning three straight sets for a 3-1 victory in the final home game of the season in Atlantic University Sport women volleyball Saturday at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium.
The loss officially eliminated Moncton from the end of season playoffs. As they did on Friday, Moncton did win the first set, but lost the next three. The Blue and Gold team lost 25-23, 18-25, 22-25 and 20-25. Pascale Doiron and Eliza Druart each had 8 kills for Moncton and Doiron and Télia Gaudet, 14 digs. Julie Moore (Halifax, NS) registered 18 kills and 14 digs for Dalhousie.
Moncton plays two weekend games on the road, Friday against Acadia University and Saturday at Saint Mary's University. The Tigers return to Dalplex on Friday to host SMU.

Players who have played four or five seasons with the Aigles were honored on Saturday. They are Annie Druart and Maude Beaudin, four years and Pascale Doiron, five years.
