Moore leads Tigers to 3-0 victory

MONCTON – Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (3-13=6pts, 5th position) could not field any momentum and fell 3-0 to the Dalhousie University Tigers (16-0=32pts) in an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game in Moncton, Sunday. Tigers have not lost a game this season.

The Blue and Gold team lost 25-14, 25-10 and 25-14. Joanie Arsenault had 8 kills and 7 digs for the Aigles Bleues and Pascale Doiron added 5 kills and 9 digs. Julie Moore led the Tigers offensive with 12 kills and 11 digs followed by Mieke DuMont with 19 kills and eight digs.

Dalhousie's Alyssa Harding earned Subway Player of the Game honours with 11 digs.

University of New Brunswick Reds will visit the Aigles Bleues, Saturday at 4p.m. and the Acadia University Axewomen, Sunday at 2p.m, both games at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium. Dalhousie and Saint Mary's meet next on Friday Feb. 8th.
