MONCTON – Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (5-4=10pts, 3rd position) lost 3-1 to first place Dalhousie University Tigers (9-0=18pts), Saturday, in an Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball game at the CEPS.
Moncton will host 5th place Acadia University Axewomen (2-6=4pts), for a return match, Sunday, at 2 p.m. in the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium.
Tigers won 25-15, 29-27, 24-26, and 25-19. The game was a demonstration of fine university volleyball as two sets needed extra points to determine a winner. The Tigers have not lost a game this season and will be back in action in the New Year.
