The Dalhousie Tigers extended their winning streak to six games Friday night at the Dalplex as they dispatched the University of Moncton Aigles Bleues 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-17). The Aigles Bleues are now winless in their last nine games. The Tigers have only dropped one set during the six-game surge.

After the Tigers jumped out to a 16-11 lead in the first set, they went on a 9-4 run as they took the first set 25-15.

The Aigles Bleues soared out to a 9-4 lead early in the second set, but the Tigers came right back as they regained the lead to make it a 11-10 game. They'd keep up the momentum for the rest of the quarter as they won 25-23 which put them within one set win of a game victory.

Moncton looked good early on in the third set, but the Tigers persevered to take the final set 25-17 to take the game 3-0.

The Tigers will take on the UNB Varsity Reds tomorrow, followed by Saint Mary's Huskies on the road next Thursday, in their last two regular season matches while the Aigles Bleues will look to end their season on a winning note when they take on the Cape Breton Capers next Sunday.
