This is Parker’s second season with the Tigers. He comes to the Tigers after coaching seven seasons with the University of King’s College Blue Devils where he led them to a silver medal finish at the conference championships in 2019-20 - their first Atlantic College Athletic Association (ACAA) finals appearance in 13 years. Parker spent two years as the head coach of the Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus Rams before joining the Blue Devils. 

Parker has coached in the Thunder Selects Basketball Club program for 15 years and is also their technical director and head coach of the Halifax Thunder of the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association and led them to the back-to-back regular season championship titles. 

A physical education teacher at Ellenvale Junior High School, Parker holds a BA in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University and a BEd from the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
