Kyle Routledge's goal in the 87th minute of play gave the Dalhousie Tigers a 1-0 victory over the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus in Atlantic University Sport men's soccer on Saturday at Stade Croix Bleue Medavie Stadium on the Moncton campus. 

The two teams were tied up to that point with fast-paced and intense play. Both goaltenders made key saves at certain points in the game. Matteo Blanc made two air saves for the Aigles Bleus and Sinclair Astridge for the Tigers recorded the shutout with 4 saves. Routledge, for the Tigers and Mathis Nemadeu for the Aigles Bleus were chosen as the players of the match. 

There was no scoring in the first half as the Tigers led 2-0 on shots. Dalhousie had 7 corner kicks to Moncton's 4. The winners' goalie's 4 saves came in the second half with an offensive effort by Moncton that came to nothing.  

Moncton will host the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. while the Tigers will host the Acadia Axemen on Sunday, October 15.
