The Dalhousie Tigers defeated the Mount Allison Mounties 2-1 in AUS men's soccer action at Alumni Field on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers opened the scoring the 27th minute when Luke Berryman scored his first of two goals on the afternoon. Berryman, Sunday's Subway Player of the game, picked up his second goal of the afternoon right before time expired in the first half.
The Mounties cut the lead in half when Tevin Lewis scored on a penalty kicked in the 54th minute. From there the Mounties pushed to equalize but Dalhousie was able to hold off the charge for the win. The Mounties finished the game with 10 shot attempts while the Tigers had 4 of their own.
Dalhousie sees their next action when they travel to Acadia on Thursday, October 7th. For their part the Mounties host UdeM on Wednesday, October 6th at Alumni Field.
