Heenan earns hatrick in 6-1 victory

Dalhousie came out of the gates strong taking a quick two-goal lead with goals in the 1st and 10th minute. Kallen Heenan (Dartmouth, NS) and Freddy Bekkers (Halifax, NS) were the scorers.
After going down early, Mount Allison was able to settle into the game, a shot off the volley by Jaryd Morrissey forced a brilliant save by Tigers keeper Ben Grondin in the 20th minute. In the 26th Morrissey found the back of the net for the Mounties.
The Tigers Dalhousie struck twice more in first half with goals coming from Heenan and Tareq Armoush (Halifax, NS) in the 43rd and 45th minutes.
Quinn Park (Calgary, AB) scored his first of the season early in the second half. Heenan scored his third of the game midway through the second, earning the hattrick and securing a 6-1 win for the Tigers.
The Tigers are back in action October 15 when they head to UPEI.
