WOLFVILLE, N.S. - Kallen Heenan's (Dartmouth, N.S.) unassisted goal in the dying seconds of regulation time, gave the visiting Dalhousie Tigers a tie game against the second place Acadia Axemen.

Heenan's goal came at the end of the game as the Tigers added pressure to score and tie the game.

The Axemen, with several opportunities to pull out to a larger lead, notched their only goal in the closing minutes of the first half. Tylor Connolly's free kick from 45 yards out was deflected by Zach Visser's header to give the Axemen a 1-0 lead into halftime.

Acadia tallied 11 shots with seven landing on goal. Dalhousie's player of the game TJ Leopold made six saves for the tie, while Axeman Nigel Goodwin was challenged three times with two saves.

Heenan's goal came with extra time from a corner kick that was deflected out of the Acadia goal box but was returned by TJ Leopold who was well out of his net. The returned kick managed to get past Goodwin and his teammates and Heenan netted the loose ball.

Acadia's Andrew Snyder was named the Subway Player of the Game for his defensive effort in reducing the Tigers attack to a minimum.

The Tigers (4-0-6) host the Saint Mary's Huskies (1-5-2) on Sunday in their final home game of the season, while the Axemen (6-1-2) take on the first place Cape Breton Capers (7-1-1) on Sunday at 3:15 p.m.
