The Dalhousie Football Club is one of four teams that play in the Atlantic Football League (AFL). After a 34 year hiatus, football returned to Dalhousie in 2010. In 2016, the team won the AFL championship with an 8-0 undefeated record, outscoring their opponents by over 300 points. The team also went undefeated in 2018, capturing 2 AFL championships in three years.

Dalhousie Football provides a high level, competitive and academically-focused American Football experience. Our locker rooms have housed U SPORTS and professional athletes, as well as successful doctors, lawyers and other professionals. We compete with University of New Brunswick (UNB) Saint John, UNB Fredericton and Holland College. We recruit from a wide array of athletes, with players coming from China to the United States, taking on a range of recruits from 10-year gridiron veterans to new players with the strength, speed and mental fortitude to excel on the field.
