Benoit wins Moncton meet

Jacob Benoit remains undefeated this season after the final meet before the AUS championships later this month. He won the Universite de Moncton Classic on Saturday with a time of 24:50.

William Pidduck of Memorial and Liam McCullagh of STFX finished in second and third respectively to round out the podium.

Lukas Rudaitis and Aidan Goslett rounded out the top ten, finishing in eighth and 10^th. Overall the Tigers finished in second place for the third straight meet.

On the women's side Breanna Sandluck was the top Tiger finishing the meet in fifth place with a time of 30:09. She was followed by Zoe Doorenspleet in sixth place and Molly Pert in ninth.

The Tigers now have a couple of weeks off before the AUS Championship hosted by Memorial on October 26.
