Tigers add Haupt for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer head coach Cindy Tye is pleased to announce the commitment of Adyson Haupt for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from St. Albert, Alberta, Haupt plays for BTB Soccer Club. The 5’7 winger/fullback and her team are 2024 Alberta Soccer Provincial Champions, and they represented Alberta at the 2024 Toyota Canada Soccer National Championship where they placed first. Haupt and her team have been ranked by FTF as a top 10 team in Canada for the past six months. In 2024 she received the BTB Club Leadership Award.
“I am so excited and grateful to officially call Dalhousie my home for the next four years,” says Haupt. “From the moment I visited Halifax and connected with Coach Cindy, I knew that this was the perfect place for me to grow both as a student and an athlete.”
A four-year honour roll student, Haupt will be studying science at Dalhousie University.
“A versatile player, Ady can play in wide areas or can contribute centrally,” says Cindy Tye. “Known for her athleticism, Ady also can read the game from different positions and makes solid decisions for her team. A leader in her community and an exceptional student, Ady has the qualities that will help her be a successful student athlete at Dal and inside our program!”
The women’s soccer team ended their 2024-25 season with a 5-4-3 record and are excited for their upcoming season in the fall.
