Tigers add David for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer head coach Cindy Tye is pleased to announce the commitment of Ziv David for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, the 5’7 center back plays for Coquitlam Metro Ford Soccer Club in the British Columbia Soccer Premier League. After finishing second in the BC Soccer provincial championship, David and her team finished in fifth place at the 2024 Toyota Canada Soccer National Championship. David and her team also finished first in the 2024 President’s Day Tournament in Arizona.
“I am beyond excited to play for the Tigers in my upcoming years, and to be surrounded by such a committed coaching staff,” says Davi. “I chose Dal because of its academic excellence in the sciences, smaller class sizes, and beautiful campus.”
David will be studying kinesiology at Dalhousie University.
“We’re excited to welcome Ziv to the Tigers,” says Tye. “Ziv is a dynamic center back known for her athleticism, anticipation, and composure in the buildup. Versatile across the back line, she brings both defensive strength and technical ability to the team. A top student and a natural leader at her club, Ziv brings a competitive attitude on and off the field. We can’t wait to see her make an impact.”
The women’s soccer team ended their 2024-25 season with a 5-4-3 record and are excited for their upcoming season in the fall!
