Tigers add Fenwick for 2024-25

Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer head coach Cindy Tye is pleased to announce the commitment of Isabella Fenwick for the 2024-25 season.

A 5’8 centre back, Fenwick started her soccer career in the Markham Football Club. She was a member of their Ontario Player Development League (OPDL) team that won the Charity Sheild in 2021. Fenwick and her Markham teammates did the double in 2022, winning both the Sheild and the OPDL Cup. They followed that up with the Cup in 2023.

The Markham, Ontario also played for Alliance United’s League1 Ontario Reserve team which finished second in the league in 2023.

“I am grateful to be given the opportunity to play soccer with so many talented teammates and work with such an amazing coaching staff,” says Fenwick. “I am looking forward to growing as a player and student at Dal.”

A multi-year member of the honour roll at Bill Crothers Secondary School, Fenwick will be studying science at Dalhousie.

“A center back, Isabella has good size and athleticism that will help to strengthen our defensive core,” says Tye. “Composed on the ball, she can start the attack through a variety of short and long range passes. A top student and person, we are excited to welcome Isabella to the Tigers!”

The Tigers will open their 2024-25 season at home on August 31 when they host Moncton.
