Camp joins the women's soccer roster for the 2024-25 season!

Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer head coach Cindy Tye is pleased to announce the commitment of Jordan Camp for the 2024-25 season.

Hailing from Bedford, Nova Scotia, Camp attends Charles P. Allen High School. A current member of Suburban Football Club’s Senior Women’s AAA team, Camp previously played for Suburban FC’s U17AAA team. A midfielder, Camp and her U17 AAA teammates won the Soccer Nova Scotia provincial title in 2022, earning them a spot at the Canada Soccer’s Toyota National Championship in Surrey, British Columbia in October 2022. The team from Nova Scotia beat Manitoba on the final day to finish in fifth place.

“I wanted to play at a top-level program with exceptional coaches that are focused on development,” says Camp. “After visiting the campus and meeting the team, I felt welcomed by the players. Dalhousie has a great combination of academics and athletics and is close to home. I am excited to further my education at Dalhousie and to be a part of the Tigers team.”

Camp will be studying arts and social sciences at Dalhousie.

“A versatile player, Jordan can be used as a defender, midfielder, and a winger,” says Tye. “Technically sound and a strong athlete, Jordan has a competitiveness that will add to the program in training and in games. She makes good decisions on the ball and is willing to do what it takes the help her team win the ball back. A top student with a strong work ethic, we are excited to have Jordan join the Tigers!”

The Tigers finished the AUS regular season in fourth place before falling to the Memorial Sea-Hawks in the quarter-finals on penalty kicks.
