Tigers finish regular season with 0-0 draw in Newfoundland

Finishing the regular season, and going into the playoffs, the Dalhousie Tigers record is now 6-3-3 and the Sea-Hawks will sit at 4-3-5.    

The offence started earlier in the game with the first shot being taken by Dalhousie's Maya Venkataraman in the 3rd minute but it wouldn't avail of anything.  
The possession changed in the fifth minute when Holly O'Neill of the Sea-Hawks would get the team's first chance but Tiger's keeper Devon Bode would pull it in.  
 
Not long after in the sixth minute, Nicole Torraville would take a free kick for the Sea-Hawks, but again, the Dalhousie keeper would reject it.  
 
After limited close opportunities for either team, the Sea-Hawk would try for something off a corner kick in the 30th minute but the ball couldn't find the net and a foul would be drawn.  
 
After a couple more corner kick opportunities for both teams nothing would be enough to get either team on the board going into the half.   
 
The opportunities didn't happen in the second half until the 54th minute when Stacey Hanlon would try for a hard-open shot at Dalhousie's net, but it would miss off the crossbar. Teammate Morgan Fitzgerald would try for something off Hanlon's rebound but nothing would go.  
 
In the 84th minute Dalhousie's Catherine Guevin-Nicoloff would try with a free kick from the top of the eighteen, but it wouldn't slide through. The Tigers had their closest chance shortly after in the 86th minute from Riley Donovan, but Sea-Hawks keeper Sydney Walsh would make a highlight worthy diving save to keep the game scoreless.    

Dalhousie keeper Devon Bode played a full 90 minutes saving all 8 shots on goal and Sea-Hawks keeper Sydney Walsh would make 9 recorded saves.     

The AUS Subway player of the game was awarded to Sea-Hawks' Jamie King for her strong defensive effort the entire match.
