The Dalhousie Tigers and Acadia Axewomen played to a 1-1 draw Wednesday night at Wickwire Field in Halifax.

The Tigers were on the board first with Riley Donovan (Toronto, ON) converting a pass from Catherine Guevin-Nicoloff (Ottawa, ON) 15 minutes into the game.

Acadia's Lauren Jodrey (Bedford, NS) tied things up 10 minutes later.

The score remained tied heading into halftime with both teams recording eight shots in the first half of the game.

The Axewomen controlled the pace of play for the most part in the second half, keeping Dalhousie's goalie Annabel Gravely (Toronto, ON) busy with eight more shots. Gravely made some tremendous saves to keep the Tigers in the game and earned Subway Player of the Game honours.

With the tie, the Axewomen remain atop the AUS standings with a 7-0-2 record. The Tigers are currently in fourth place at 5-3-1.

The Tigers host Mount Alliosn in their final home game of the season on Sunday, October 20. The Axewomen host the Saint Mary's Huskies Friday, October 18 in Wolfville.
