Tigers add Flesher for 2025-26
Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey head coach Keifer House is pleased to announce the commitment of Nicole Flesher for the 2025-26 season.
Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey head coach Keifer House is pleased to announce the commitment of Nicole Flesher for the 2025-26 season.
Hailing from London, Ontario, the 5’6 goalie plays on the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). Flesher and her team were finalists in the CSSHL championship division II where she recorded back-to-back shutouts. She finished third in the regular season CSSHL in saves over 17 games and finished first in save percentage with .960 at the CSSHL championship playoffs. Previously, she played in the Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) for the Etobicoke Dolphins U18AA in 2023-24 and the Bluewater Hawks U18AA in 2022-23.
Flesher received the team MVP award in 2023-24 from her high school, St Thomas Aquinas High School. She also was selected as the goalie on the Hockey High School All-Star team in 2024. She also earned Athlete of the Year in 2023-24. Flesher was a member of her high school cross country team where she received Cross Country MVP in 2022 and 2023.
“I am super excited to join Dalhousie and play for the Tigers to compete for a national championship and grow as a hockey player on and off the ice while being surrounded by a great group of teammates.” says Flesher.
An honour student, Flesher will be studying arts at Dalhousie.
“Nicole is an athletic goaltender who plays with a high compete level,” says House. “We are looking forward to having Nicole join our program and help us continue to build on the progress we have made in the last couple of seasons.”
The Tigers recorded the most wins in program history this season to finish the regular season in fifth place.
