The Dalhousie women's hockey team l'Université de Moncton 3-2 on November 13, in Moncton.

Gabrielle Noordijk (Oakville, ON) started the game off with a goal for the Tigers seven minutes into the first period. Dalhousie goalie Grace Beer (Oakville, ON) had done a good job holding the lead for the Tigers, saving 9 shots until Catherine Longchamps (Airdrie, AB) finally managed to sneak one past Beer to tie the game heading into the first intermission.

The second period featured more back and forth action as Dalhousie's Olivia Eustace (Riverview, NB) scored midway through the period to take the lead back for the Tigers. It didn't take long for les Aigles Bleu to strike back as Shani Rossignol (Notre Dame de Lourdes, NB) found the back of the net to tie things up once more. It looked like we might be going into the second intermission with another tie, when suddenly Paige Coulter-Vansickle (Millbrook, ON) scored her first AUS goal to give the Tigers the lead with less than a minute to play in the period.

Les Aigles Bleus fought hard in the third period to try and tilt the game back in their favour, but a tough Dalhousie backcheck and some impressive goaltending from Beer helped Dalhousie hang onto the lead.

Noordijk, was named Subway player of the game for the Tigers, as she racked up a goal and her eighth assist of the season in the contest. Tying her for third in the AUS.

Both teams will now begin preparing for their next game on Wednesday, when Moncton travels to Sackville, NB to take on Mount Allison, while Dalhousie hosts the number two seed STFX.
