Tigers edge Panthers on the road

Charlottetown, PE – The Dalhousie Tigers edged the UPEI Panthers 1-0 in front of 83 fans at MacLauchlan Arena in Charlottetown, PE.

The lone goal of the game was scored on the power play by Subway player of the game Laura Brooks with 13:32 remaining in the second period, assisted by Bianca Canade and Courtney Sheedy.

Jessica Severeyns made 12 saves for the win while Marie-Soliel Deschenes made 25 saves for the loss.

The Panthers are now off for the break and return to action January 8 when they travel to Antigonish to face StFX, game time 7:00 pm.

The Tigers next game is tomorrow when they host StFX, puck drop is 6:30 pm.
