Tigers lead after day 1 of AUS track and field.
Abbi Gaudry won two gold medals and Cara Macdonald set a new AUS record.
The Dalhousie Tigers lead after day one of the Bell AUS Track and Field Championships in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Chelsea MacIsaac opened the day by setting a new Dalhousie record with a throw of 13.77m in the shot put. Fellow Tiger Bailey Oakes finished second.
Samantha Henneberry posted a personal best in the high jump to claim a silver medal with a jump of 1.64.
Abbi Gaudry won her first medal of the day in the 60m hurdles, crossing the line in first place. She would go on to also win gold in the women's pentathlon.
Cara Macdonald won the women's 1000m, setting a new AUS record of 2:51.73. Zoe Fullarton finished in second place. Aidan Goslett won the men's 1000m with fellow Tigers Lukas Rudaitis finishing third.
