Dalhousie's throwers opend up their 2023 season at the Doyle Corporate Image Rencontre ouverte de Moncton Open on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

In the women's shot put, Chelsea MacIsaac threw a distance of 11.51m to win the event. Lily Spoozak was second with a distance of 10.73m, followed by Temi Toba Oluboka in third (10.39m).

Toba Oluboka won the women's weight throw with a distance o 15.50m with MacIsaac throwing a 14.33m to take second place.

Andre Hendricks placed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.73m. He was also second in the weight throw, recording a distance of 13.24m. Simon Salah was third, with a distance of 12.59m.
