Tigers continue winnings ways at track meet

The Tigers continued to shine on day two of the REDS University Invitational in Saint John, N.B.

Maya Reynolds won the final of the 60m dash with fellow Tiger Anika Natasiuk placing second. Matthew Aftanas placed second in the men's 60m final.

Reynolds got her second win of the day, claiming gold in the 300m event, with teammate Sofia Stewart crossing the line in second. Dan Lord was first to the finish in the men's 300m with a time of 35.77. Damon MacDonald was third in the event, followed by Aftanas in fourth. Zach James won the men's 600m race, posting a time of 1:24.17. Fellow Tiger Braden Gray was third.

Joel Caloz was second in the 1000m as was Aidan Goslett in the mile. Teammate Daniel Rosen was third.

Abbi Gaudry won the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.32. Jessica Goodwin was third in the event.

Temi Toba Oluboka won the weight throw with a toss of 15.18m. Chelsea MacIsaac was second with a 15.05m throw. Simon Salah was third in the men's weight throw, followed by Andre Hendricks in fourth.

Oluwatobi Oshikoya won the men's high jump with a leap of 1.90m. Skeets Greene was second with a jump of 1.85m. Peter Collier led a Tigers sweep of the top four finsihes in the long jump with a distance of 7.01m. He was followed by Nicolas Beaulieu, Greene and Oshikoya. Oshikoya and Greene were first and second again in the triple jump.

Amanda Black won the indoor pentathlon with 3146 points, posting first place finishes in the 800m run, long and high jump portions. Abbi Gaudry placed fourth.
