Stein-Blumberg leads Tigers in day 3 of U SPORTS Swimming
Mia Stein-Blumberg led the Tigers in the third and final day of the U SPORTS championships.
The Dalhousie Tigers wrapped up the 2025 U SPORTS Swimming Championships strong with several B final qualifications on Saturday.
In the women's 200m butterfly, Mia Stein-Blumberg and Alexia Morgans both qualified for the B final. Stein-Blumberg finished 10th overall with a finals time of 2:18.76. Morgans finished in 14th place with a time of 2:20.95.
In the men's race, Yannick Morgans touched the wall in a time of 2:11.51 to finish 38th overall.
Kate Tuck qualified for the C final in the women's 50m breaststroke and finished 20th overall with a finals time of 33.17 seconds.
In the men's 50m breaststroke, Jake Gysel finished 33rd overall and fellow Tiger Quinn Nolan finished 36th overall.
Emma Carrier Clarke finished in 27th place in the women's 100m free with a time of 57.94 seconds.
In the men's race, Logan Sparkes qualified for the C final where he recorded a time of 50.82 seconds to finish 24th. Liam Ferguson finished 41st overall.
Emilie Schofield qualified for the B final in the women's 200m backstroke where she touched the wall in a time of 2:16.20 to finish in 10th place.
Alexia Morgans finished in 24th place in the women's 800m freestyle race with a time of 9:21.88.
Morgan Sparkes touched the wall in a time of 15:44.27 in the men's 1500m to finish in 12th place. Yannick Morgans finished in 29th place.
The women's relay team of Schofield, Tuck, Stein-Blumberg, and Carrier Clarke finished in 15th place in the 400m Medley relay.
The men's team of Nolan, Gysel, Ferguson, and Logan Sparkes touched the wall in a time of 3:45.59 to finish in 14th place.
The UBC Thunderbirds won both the women's and men's team titles. The Tigers men's team finished in 16th place with a score of 82 points. The women's team finished in 12th place with a score of 176 points.
