Tigers lead after session one of swimming
Emma Carrier Clarke led the Tigers with two individual wins and a relay win.
The first session of the AUS Invitational took place on Saturday in the pool at Dalplex.
Acadia swimmers Sophie Rooney and Sara Bennett went 1-2 in the women's 50m butterfly. Dalhousie's Mia Stein-Blumberg touched in third.
On the men's side, Memorial's Chris Weeks won his first race of the weekend follow by Tigers Liam Ferguson and Quinn Nolan.
Dalhousie's Emma Carrier Clarke won the women's 200m free followed by Acadia's Emma Hamlyn and Grace Earle.
The Tigers touched in 1-2 in the men's 200m free with Hasan Hosny finishing first followed by Morgan Sparkes. Acadia's Alex Jonsen-Humble touched in third.
Emilie Schofield and Kate Tuck of Dalhousie touched in first and second in the women's 200m IM followed by Acadia's Ella Collins.
Tigers Logan Sparkes and Timothy McCowan touched in first and second in the men's 200m IM followed by Maxime Kenny of UNB.
UNB's Leah Smal won the women's 100m backstroke followed by Meredith Coolen of Dal and Kaylee Lasalle of Acadia.
In the men's 100m backstroke, it was a Tigers sweep with Ferguson touching first followed by Cole Mitchell and Isaac Bahler.
Carrier Clarke won her second race of the afternoon in the 50m free. Cassidy Karrel and Sophie Rooney of Acadia touched in second and third.
Memorial's Weeks won the men's 50m free followed by Dalhousie's Logan Sparkes and Acadia's Lucas Mazier.
Tigers Alexia Morgans and Stein-Blumberg touched 1-2 in the women's 200m butterfly. Memorial's Heidi Perry touched third.
In the men's 200m butterfly it was a Dalhousie sweep with Yannick Morgans touching first, followed by Will Myrer touching second, and Morgan Sparkes in third.
Acadia's Collins won the women's 100m breaststroke followed by Dal's Tuck and MUN's Lindsey Goodland.
UNB's Blake Kingston won the men's 100m breaststroke followed by Dal's Connor Maloney and Timothy McCowan.
Schofield won the 800m free followed by Alexia Morgans and Allison Redfern. Yannick Morgans won the men's 1500m free followed by Mount Allison's Camren MacLeod.
In the women's 200m freestyle relay, the Tigers team of Carrier Clarke, Elaine Gentleman, Amari Delima-Baril and Tuck touched in a quick 1:46.76. Acadia's team of Emma Cyr, Ella Collins, Chloe Popp, and Emma Wintermeyer touched second. Third place went to Dal's second team of Stein-Blumberg, Olivia Howe, Coolen and Victoria Storm.
The Dalhousie team of Logan Sparkes, Nolan, Noah Thomas and Myrer won the men's 200m freestyle relay. The Memorial team of Liam Tweedlie, Darcy Butler, Stephen Milley, and Chris Weeks touched in second. The second Dal team of Hosny, Jevon Gaudett, Keilen Ballie, and Rhonin Mountstevens touched third.
The teams return to the pool on Sunday morning at 10am at Dalplex.
