The Dalhousie men's and women's swim teams swam to victory to win the 2022 Subway AUS Swimming Championships presented by Bell.
It was the women's 23rd consecutive title and the men's first since the 2018-19 championships.
Reagan Crowell led a podium sweep of the women's 800m freestyle event. She clocked in with a U SPORTS-qualifying time of 8:55.71. Abbey Nichols and Amelia Lane followed in second and third, respectively.
Acadia's Gordon Shortt won gold in the men's 50m breaststroke and was followed closely by Dalhousie's Adam Bouma in second and Memorial's Cormac Bull in third. Both Shortt and Bouma posted U SPORTS-qualifying times.
Dal's Abbey Corish was the first to the wall in the women's 50m breaststroke. Memorial's Paulina Konstantinova was second followed by Victoria MacDonald from Dalhousie in third.
Liam Ferguson and Ewan Maclean were first and second for Dalhousie in the men's 200m backstroke. Acadia's Aaron Day was third.
Memorial's Kate Williams won the women's 200m backstroke with a U SPORTS-qualifying time of 2:17.72. Acadia's Grace Earle was second, followed by Dalhousie's Madison Penney.
Dalhousie's Noah Mascoll-Gomes was the first to touch in the men's 100m freestyle. He posted a U SPORTS-qualifying time of 50.21. Acadia's Dean Sangster and Shane Kenny were second and third, respectively.
Jennifer Moore won UNB's first gold medal of the session edging Dalhousie's Reagan Crowell by five one hundredths of a second in the women's 100m freestyle event. Dal's Martine Nyhof picked up the bronze medal.
Adam Bouma took top honours in the 200m IM for Dalhousie, with Memorial's Matthew Whelan and Elyott Chang following in second and third, respectively.
Emilie Schofield led a second podium sweep for the Tigers, this time in the women's 200m IM. Teammates Veronica Hollick and Victoria MacDonald followed in second and third.
Dalhousie's Logan Sparkes was the fastest swimmer in the men's 1500m freestyle. Fellow Tigers Hayden Woodrow and Ewan Maclean earned the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
The Tigers 4x100m relay team of Martine Nyhof, Abbey Corish, Veronica Hollick and Reagan Crowell took first place in the event. Acadia's Jessica Pelletier, Kali Lancaster, Kassidy Hamilton and Grace Earle were second followed by Memorial's team of Kate Williams, Polina Konstantinova, Heidi Perry and Kathryn Stokes.
Christian Payne, Adam Bouma, Frederick Chandler-Baas and Noah Mascoll-Gomes (DAL) posted a U SPORTS-qualifying time of 3:44.74 to win the men's 4x100m relay. The Acadia team of Dean Sangster, Gordon Shortt, Shane Kenny and Bo Stokesbury-Price was second followed by Memorial's Ruben Rivero, Matthew Whelan, Cormac Bull and Sam Pennell in third.
Dalhousie swimmers swept the 2022 Subway AUS Swimming Championship awards with Emilie Schofield earning women's rookie of the meet honours, while Reagan Crowell was the championship swimmer of the meet. Adam Bouma was named both the rookie and swimmer of the meet on the men's side.
