Dillan Morphet (Ancaster, ON) scored Dal's 16th kill of the second set. However, it would not be enough, as Montreal won the second set 25-17.

The third set began 7-7 in a back-and-forth set. The Tigers took a 13-11 lead with a kill from Justin Cross (Winnipeg, MB) as the Tigers began to build momentum.

After an attack error from Dal, Montreal tied the set 15-15.
