The Montreal Carabins beat Dalhousie three sets to none on January 27, in the Dalhousie Fieldhouse.

The Carabins jumped out to an early lead in the first set thanks to the impressive efforts of Guillome Bisson and Alexis Tournier (Gatineau, QC) who provided the offence for Montreal.Dalhousie made an effort to take the set back but ultimately fell short as the carabins won the set 25-20.

Dalhousie seemed energised to start the second set as they opened up a six point lead over Montreal as the Tigers season leader in kills, Michael Donovan (London, ON), began to find the gaps in the defence. The Carabins managed to keep their cool and fought back to end up winning the set 25-21.

Montreal did not let up in the third set despite Donovan's continued brilliance on the attack. The Carabins built an early lead and refused to give it up as they won the set 25-19 giving them the victory.

Bisson earned  Subway player of the game honours for Montreal after tallying 13 kills throughout the match.

The win moves Montreal to 9-3 on the season while Dalhousie falls to 2-9. The game was the first of a weekend double-header as both teams will gear up to face each other once again tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.
