(Halifax, NS) On Sunday afternoon at the Dalplex the Dalhousie Tigers beat the Memorial Sea-Hawks 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-17) in a four-point match. The two teams were scheduled to faceoff tomorrow evening as well but the game was cancelled due to poor weather creating a four-point game on Sunday.

Scott Bailey had a 9 consecutive serves early in the first set putting the Tigers up 11-2. The Tigers continued their strong play forcing set point. Memorial managed to fend off a couple of set points but Scott Bailey put things away at 25-21.

Jonathan Macdonald went on a serving run to open the game up in the second set. The game was all tied up at 8-8 but the run put the Tigers ahead 16-8. Dalhousie took the set easily by a score of 25-15.

Dalhousie continued to roll in the third set winning 25-17. The Tigers offense proved to be to much for the Sea-Hawks as they were out hit 13-3 in the frame.

The Tigers were led by Scott Bailey, Connor Maessen and Matthew Donovan who recorded 14, 10 and 9 kills respectively.

Dalhousie's next action comes on Friday February 12 when they travel to UNB. The Sea-Hawks are all done for the season falling short of a playoff spot.
