Gary was the head coach of the Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club for 20 years and has been with the Tigers for over a decade. He was a member of the 1976 Olympic Swimming Team for Canada where he won a silver medal as part of the medley relay team. He has consistently developed nationally ranked athletes in his coaching career.
