Joe is a veteran of over 500 AHL and 176 NHL games. A well-rounded defenceman, he was a member of the 2001-02 Calder Cup champion Chicago Wolves and the 2006-07 Stanley Cup champion Anaheim Ducks. He played two seasons with Boston University and played in the Memorial Cup with the Halifax Mooseheads in 2000.
