Kirwin scores in loss to Aigles Bleus

The Moncton Aigles Bleus defeated the Dalhousie Tigers with a final score of 3-1 on Friday, in Halifax, NS.
The opening period of the game between Dalhousie and the Aigles Bleus saw the Aigles Bleus take an early lead with a goal by Jérémy at 8:57, assisted by Charles Edouard Drou. Dalhousie had multiple power play opportunities early in the period due to penalties on Moncton's Marc-Antoine Mercier, but they were unable to capitalize. Despite the Tigers winning several face-offs, the Aigles Bleus maintained pressure with a series of missed shots that were saved by Dalhousie's goalie, Nicholas Chenard. The Aigles Bleus ended the period with a 1-0 lead, despite a late penalty on Jonathan Desrosiers that gave the Tigers another power play opportunity.
The second period between Dalhousie and the Aigles Bleus began with the Aigles Bleus winning the initial faceoff and quickly ending Dalhousie's power play. The Aigles Bleus dominated the period with numerous missed shots on goal, but it was Michael Cyr who broke through at 11:57, scoring with assists from Jeremy Lapointe and Jacob Dion. Dalhousie faced several penalties, including a 10-minute penalty for Ethan Martini, which provided the Aigles Bleus with power play opportunities, yet they struggled to capitalize further. In the third period of the game between Dalhousie and the Aigles Bleus, Dalhousie took an early lead with a goal by Barret Kirwin at 3:05, assisted by Christopher McQuaid and Ryan Del Monte. The Aigles Bleus responded with several missed shots, with Nicholas Chenard making consistent saves for Dalhousie.
