MONCTON – Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (3-12-2=8pts, 6th position) scored three times in the third period and Robbie Graham added a hat trick for a 6-1 win over Dalhousie University Tigers (2-15-1=5pts), Friday evening, in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey action at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena, in front of 345 spectators.
The win enables the Blue and Gold to get a stronger hold on 6th position with a three-point difference and to step to within a single point of 5th place UPEI Panthers, that lost Friday evening. Moncton has won 2 of it last 3 games and scored a total of 17 goals. Alexis Roy, Samuel LeBlanc and Jean-François Plante had singles for the winners and Plante added an assist. Jackson Playfair, in the third period, prevented U de M goaltender Alexi Thibaudeau from registering a shutout, on 21 shots. Corbin Boes (50 minutes, 4 goals, 16 shots) and Joe Gladnick (10 minutes, 2 goals, 6 shots) shared net minding duties for the visitors.
