The Tigers skated to a 6-1 win against the Aigles Bleus on Saturday. The Tigers scored three third period goals to bring home the win. Both teams were separated by two points in the standings so this was an important game for both teams.

The Tigers would take a 2-1 lead into the locker room after the first period. Felix Page would notch another goal in the second period for Dalhousie to increase the lead to 3-1.

In the third period, the Tigers would convert three more goals on 11 shots to win the game 6-1. Corbin Boes stopped 31 shots for the Tigers between the pipes. Leading the way for the Tigers were Steven Johnson who scored 2 goals and Fabian Walsh, who had one goal and two assists and was named the Subway First Star of the Game.

The Aigles Bleus will cross the confederation bridge Wednesday night for a game against the fifth place UPEI Panthers. The Tigers next game is at home vs the Saint Mary's Huskies at 7pm at the Halifax Forum for Bell Let's Talk Day.
