He converted all seven of his free throws in the first half. In the second half Christie added 14 more points, to record a game-high 26 points and pulled in seven rebounds (all defensive) along with five three-point shots.

Jayden Parker (Milton, ON) led the Tigers defensively pulling in 9 rebounds, recording one steal and one block in additon to his nine points.

After a spectacular journey through the OUA playoffs, the Badgers will have to wait another year before adding a third national title to their program's trophy case. Andrew McKenna offered the best performance for the losing side with 12 points.

The Dalhousie Tigers will now face the Laval Rouge et Or Saturday night at 8 p.m. (ET) in the second semifinal in Quebec City. The host completed a major upset by upending the top-seeded Victoria Vikes earlier Friday evening.
