Carson & Veinot named co-MVPs

Alex Carson led the nation in free throw percentage this season with 93.4%. He played in 17 of the Tigers 20 regular season games, averaging 14.3 points per game. An AUS second team all-star, he was named to the AUS championship all-star team and the MVP while leading the Tigers to their second-straight AUS conference championship win.
 
He averaged 16 points per game at the national championships, earning U SPORTS championship all-star honours. 
 
Alex also set a new Dalhousie Tiger career record for three-point field goals made with 165.
 
 
Keevan Veinot became the first Dalhousie Tigers men’s basketball player to be named the Atlantic University Sport conference’s most valuable player after leading the Tigers to their second-straight AUS championship banner win.
 
He played in 19 of 20 regular season games, averaging a team-high 15.6 points per game and 5.5 assists per game. An AUS first team all-star, he was also named to the conference championship all-star team.
 
Keevan is also the first Dalhousie men’s basketball player to be named a U SPORTS first team All-Canadian and was named to the national championship all-star team after leading the Tigers to a silver medal finish.
