Plato beats former team 81-58
The Dalhousie Tigers defeated the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics, of the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association (ACAA), on Saturday night, 81-58 to earn consolation honours.

Sven Stammberger (Halifax, NS), a tournament all-star, had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Jarred Reid (Aurora, ON) and Sean Dodds (Ottawa, ON) also hit double digits with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Tournament all-star Emad Khalek (Truro, NS) led the Mystics with 12 points. Dustin Poirier (Waterville, NS) scored 11, while collecting seven assists, four rebounds and four steals. Jack Gallinaugh (Halifax, NS) contributed nine points and a team-high six rebounds for the Mystics.
Dalhousie was in control of the game from the tip off leading 46-26 at the intermission.
The Tigers went 1-1 over the weekend losing the first game to the Cape Breton Capers 74-61. Devon Stedman, who fouled out of the game late in the fourth quarter, led the Tigers with 13 points and eight boards. Veteran point guard Ritchie Kanza Mata had 13 points and seven boards to go along with three assists.
The men's basketball team hosts the Laurier Golden Hawks on Thursday at 8:00 pm.
