Tigers lone undefeated team after day two
The Tigers women's curling team is the lone undefeated team after day two of the AUS championship.
Montague, PEI — Day 2 saw the Dalhousie Tiger women's team earn a pair of wins to stay atop the standings, while on the men's side, Saint Mary's continues to hold down the top spot. The Tigers men's team had the day off.

The defending champs from Dalhousie were pushed to start Day 2 but kept their unbeaten record alive after narrowly defeating Memorial University 7-6. Momentum shifted a few times during the match with Dal scoring two and then stealing one in the third and fourth ends to take a 4-1 lead. Memorial (1-2) clawed back with a deuce in the fifth end followed up with a steal of two in the sixth to take 5-4 lead after six ends. The Tigers regained their lead with two in the seventh before giving up one in the eighth to send the game to an extra end. In the final end, Dalhousie (3-0) had the hammer and took advantage, scoring one to secure the win.

The Dalhousie Tigers showed patience in this matchup, as the teams struggled to put points on the board for the first half of this game. After Dalhousie started with a single, STFX (0-4) blanked the second end, but was forced to take just one in the third. They made amends by stealing a single in the fourth to take a 2-1 lead. The Tigers (4-0) tied the game in the fifth end, and then blew things up from there, stealing two in the sixth and then four more in the seventh to keep their record perfect.
