Third-year combined events athlete Abbi Gaudry is this week’s co-female PepsiCo Athlete of the Week.
This weekend, Abbi was a crucial piece in the Tigers women’s track and field team successfully defending their AUS title for a historic 34th time. On Friday, Abbi won both the heptathlon and 60m hurdles gold medal, setting a new AUS record in the latter. On Saturday, she added to her medal haul, winning the women’s long jump event. Abbi was named the championship meet MVP for her work.
A kinesiology student, Abbi hails from Windsor Junction, Nova Scotia.
