The men's cross country team ran to a third-place team finish at the 2022 Vigars & Salter Western invitational Meet Saturday afternoon in Ontario.

Fifth-year Hudson Grimshaw-Surette (Yarmouth, NS) led the way with a 12th place finish, crossing the line in a time of 25:35, topping his personal best time in an eight-kilometre race by eight seconds. Will Cox (Ottawa, ON) was close behind, earning a 14th place finish with a time of 25:49. 

Cox was followed by second-year Aidan Goslett (Toronto, ON) who was 17th with a time of 25:53. Not far behind him was Nick Robertson (Charlottetown, PE) who crossed the line at 26:00, good for 20th and Daniel Rosen (Toronto, ON) who was 24th with a time of 26:10.

Next up for the Tigers is the second AUS Invitational on Saturday, October 1, hosted by l'Universite de Moncton.
