The Dalhousie women’s cross country team is eager to defend their 2013 AUS title. Coming off of a season that saw them go undefeated in the AUS and dominate the championship meet with four conference all-stars, the team returns four of their top seven runners.

The Tigers will once again be led by last year’s AUS silver medalist Ellen Chappell. Chappell is coming off of an extremely productive summer that saw her run personal bests in both the 5000m (17:25) and 3000m (9:53) events. Chappell will be joined by Queen’s transfer student Colleen Wilson who should have an immediate impact in the front pack of the AUS. Also returning from last year’s squad are Britany MacArthur, Emily Clarke, Vanessa Linton, and 2013 redshirt Maddy Crowell.

Look for breakout seasons from Emily Ferguson and Kayte Kowal who made huge improvements over the summer and will be looking to crack the top seven.
