2014 Season Preview

The Dalhousie men’s cross country team is returning to action after narrowly losing AUS gold last season. The team is looking to step to the top of the podium as three seasons as runners up to StFX.

For the fourth year in a row, the team will be led by Matt McNeil. McNeil, the reigning AUS 3000m gold medalist in track, has never placed worse than third at an AUS championship and will be looking to add a cross country gold medal to his collection. He’ll be joined by returning athletes Nick Wood, Will Russell and captain Matthias Mueller. Wood, Russell, and Mueller ran personal best after personal best this summer in preparation for this season. Joining the squad is 2013 redshirt Jake Wing who is fresh off of a summer season that saw him run personal bests in the 800m (1:53) and 1500m (3:54).
