She previously was a member of the 2024 Team Ontario Red and the 2023 Team Ontario White teams at the same tournament.
In 2024 she also earned a silver medal at the Alberta Indigenous Summer Games as a member of the U19 Team Ontario Indigenous Niigaanii. In her high school gym at Sacred Heart High School, she is a captain of the volleyball team and was named the team MVP for the 2023-24 season.
"I'm so excited to continue my academic and athletic career at Dalhousie," says Braumberger. "I knew instantly that the Tiger program was the right fit for me. It felt like a perfect balance of strong academics, amazing people and a competitive, supportive and driven volleyball program under Coach Patty. The team, the coaches and the energy made me feel welcomed so quickly."
"Daven brings an infectious energy and a defensive presence that will immediately elevate our gym. Her time in high-level competitive environments has accelerated her development as a player, and we're excited to welcome her to the Tigers" says Murray.
A four-year member of the honour roll at Scared Heart, Braumberger will be studying kinesiology at Dalhousie.
