Dalhousie's women's soccer team beat Université de Moncton 4-0 this past Sunday, September 20 at Moncton Stadium.
In the first half, Dalhousie put away 3 goals against Moncton. Dalhousie's Kristy McGregor-Bales (Ottawa, ON) scored the first goal of the game at 24:46 quickly followed by teammate Scarlett Smith (Wolfville, NS) with a goal at 29:30.
In the 35th minute of the game, Victoria Parkinson (Halifax, NS) got another goal for the Tigers which brought them to a 3-0 lead over the Aigles Bleues for the first half.
In the second half, Genevieve Levesque (St. Alexandre, QC), was given a yellow card for Moncton in the 57th minute. Later in the game, McGregor-Bales scored her second goal of the match bringing the Tigers to a 4-0 lead over the Aigles Bleues.
As the game came to a close, Moncton's goalie, Dominique Leblanc, was handed a yellow card in the 90th minute before the whistle blew which ended the game with a 4-0 win to the Dalhousie Tigers.
The Tiger's (1-2-1) next game will be on Friday, September 25th at 5pm in an away game against Saint Mary's (1-2-1). The Aigles Bleues (0-4-0) will also be playing on the 25th against the Mounties (1-2-1) in an away game at Mount Allison University at 5pm.
