Tigers add Falk for 2022-23 season

Dalhousie Tigers women’s hockey head coach Troy Ryan is pleased to announce the commitment of Natasha Falk for the 2022-23 season.

Hailing from Carberry, Manitoba, Falk is a member of the Rink Hockey Academy U18 Prep team out of Kelowna, BC, playing in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). The forward averaged almost a point per game this past season, while helping her team to a first-place finish in the CSSHL U18 Female Prep league and a championship title.

“I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing school and hockey program,” says Falk. “These next four years are going to be life-changing because of the people that have been part of my recruitment. I know that I will become a better student, athlete and person during my time at Dalhousie because of my coaches and teammates. I am so lucky to be a Tiger and can't wait to get started!”

Falk will be studying science at Dalhousie.

“Natasha is a well-rounded player that understands the importance of being a good teammate,” says Ryan. “We believe her team-first mentality will add to the environment here at Dalhousie. Natasha has been a pleasure to work with throughout the recruiting process and we are excited to have her as part of our program.”

The Tigers are looking to build on their seventh-place league finish last season.
