With this win, the X-Women will advance to the AUS Finals series as they look to win gold and head to CIS Championships in Calgary, Alberta.

The X-Women came out hot to the first period looking to snatch an early lead as they out shot the Tigers 16-7. At the 6:29 mark the X-Women's forward, Alexa Normore, found the back of the net to bring the X-Women a 1-0 lead.

As the Tigers came out to the second period down one goal, they picked up their defensive game and only allowed the X-Women to fire eight shots at goalie Jessica Severeyns. Three minutes and 25 seconds into play, Tigers forward Lisa Maclean slipped one past X-Women goaltender Sojung Shin on a power play. The period ended with a tied score of 1-1.

Daley Oddy was able to break the tie for the X-Women notching a goal at the 9:29 mark. With two minutes left and down a goal, the Tigers pulled their goaltender in a last effort to take the series to a third game. The X-Women capitalized on the opportunity with Kara Power sealing the Tigers fate and adding another goal in the final minute of play.

The X-Women's forward, Daley Oddy, was awarded tonight's Subway Player of The Game.
