Joe is entering his fifth season with the Tigers. He has spent the past 45 years coaching at all levels from minor to university and most recently spent three years as assistant coach with the National Basketball League's Halifax Hurricanes. Joe previously spent time as assistant coach with the Tigers in the late 90’s and was a member of the AUS championship team in 2000.  A member of the Acadia University Sports Hall of Fame as both a team and an individual inductee, Joe is originally from Amherst, NS, but has resided in Bedford for the past 40 years.
